~Melynda Ann~
It seems like only yesteday when my little girl was 6, turning 7 then 8 years old. We were talking today how she has grown into such a young lady in the time we've had her. She couldn't believe that she's lived almost half her life with us. (It is 5 years this summer.)

She's had a rough summer with needing to deal with some tough life troubles that no child should have to endure. She's a trooper, though, and more and more is my daughter each day that passes into the next.
We have our moments, as you all know, but all in all, she's a doll!

A Daughter's Gift
By Robert Sexton

When I imaginethe life you will live,
I think of the pleasure your presence will give.
I see the joy your smile will light
and the wonders you'll weave
when your dreams take flight.

I feel the hope that will grow with your grace
and the difference you'll make
to each heart you embrace.
I imagine your life as I know it will be;
for, my daughter, you've given
all this to me.

  1. She's beautiful. Your son is adorable as well. I've enjoyed catching up on your site.
