2 Month Stats

We had our two month doctor appt today and got 3 lovely shots in Javier's chubby little legs. He is doing great! He is already rolling from tummy to back, cutting a tooth, and growing like crazy! He weighs 14 lbs 2 oz and is 24 3/4" long. That puts him in the 95th percentile for both. I looked up Paco's stats at the same age and Paco was 15 lbs 3 oz and 25" long (100th percentile in both) so Javi's going to be a big boy, too. That should be good for handing down clothes, I guess!

Can't wait to see where Paco is next month at his 3 year old visit. Thankfully, we're done with shots for him til kindergarten.

I was kind of hoping Javi would stay small so I could enjoy the baby days a little more but I guess that won't be happening. My baby's are growing so fast.

How am I doing? Okay, I think. Most days are good but the evenings are long with Javi crying til he falls asleep his 8+ hrs. I try not to complain but it does make it hard with 5 other kids in the house needing things/me. Especially Paco. The weight is coming off, 12 lbs til pre-Javi weight. I am going to put the girls in swim lessons with Paco this summer, take Javi to the nursery and work out at the Y during their lesson time. That's the plan anyway... I just had a friend RUN the Komen Race for the Cure in Boise and am so proud of her. She had a baby 6 months ago... Here is her post about the race. I don't know if I could ever do that race but she trained for it and did it!! YEAH!

I have my down days so keep me in your prayers. We're watching the signs for depression and how long my spells are. I think I'm going to be okay but Roy worries since I've struggled with this in the past.

For today, I'm good! :-)

  1. Sounds like you have your hands full, but are dealing with it all with grace and style!

I hope Javier slows down with growing so he stays little a little while longer!

  2. Hi Joy,

Just popped over to see how everything was going. Wow - I can't believe how big he is.

Little Phebe is still only just passed 4 pounds. Not exactly sure because she hasn't been weighed for a couple of weeks but she isn't putting on tons of weight - oh well. But she is doing super well in every other department.

I found that sleep deprivision really contributed to depression etc... so make sure you are getting plenty of sleep. To look after everyone else you must also look after yourself. I'm not talking selfish style, I'm talking basic necessities. What you need. Sleep is a definite must get. I just wish that I knew that when I had my boys - because at the time I didn't, and I got depressed and a mini break down etc... At any rate I get my sleep now. LOL.

I've still got baby weight to come off too. Oh well.

When you get a bit down or just want to talk just send me an email. :)
